How it works
Six steps, from hello to the final order
Every case is different, but the path is the same. Here is what happens, and who you’ll hear from at each step.
- 01
Step 1: Call, text or book online
Junie asks a few questions to check for conflicts, then finds a time that suits you, Saturdays included.
- 02
Step 2: The free first meeting
Forty-five minutes with Teodora. You leave knowing your options, a likely timeline and what each path might cost.
- 03
Step 3: A written plan and fee agreement
After the meeting you get the plan on paper: the steps, who does what and the fee for each stage. Nothing starts until you sign.
- 04
Step 4: Paperwork and disclosure
Emilio prepares the petition, financial affidavit and document lists. You review each one before it’s filed.
- 05
Step 5: Mediation or a hearing
Many cases settle at mediation. We prepare you and sit beside you. If a judge needs to decide, we take it to the hearing.
- 06
Step 6: The final order, and after
We walk you through each order in plain words, and we’re a call away when schedules or paychecks change.
While your case is open
You’ll never wonder what’s happening
A short update every two weeks, even when the update is that we’re waiting on the court.
Questions go to whoever can answer fastest. Scheduling goes to Junie, documents to Emilio, legal questions to Teodora. Each month Rowena sends a statement that lists the work done and the time it took.
Updates every two weeks
A monthly statement, line by line
Texts answered during office hours

Step one takes five minutes
Call, text or fill in the form. Junie will find you a time for the free first meeting.
The first meeting is free. Fees and court costs after that, such as filing and service fees, are set out in a written agreement before any work starts.
